Our wine tour went really smoothly and we enjoyed getting to know the the two different vineyards and their products. Brenda was really nice and we also got good recommendations from her for our visit in Montpellier. Would highly recommend!

It was a great experience! The oyster tasting was amazing, both because of the marvelous oysters you get to eat, and by the company and cooking show from the two brothers who own the restaurant! And by the way: such a beautiful place, it makes you want to never leave... Then, you get a different approach to wine tasting, not only drinking the wine and getting to see the chateau, but also getting to know the whereabouts (and in our case, the wineyard itself!). While we thought Montpellier itself was worth the visit, adding this tour was an extraordinary way to realize Montpellier is probably one of the best destinations throughout all France. Merci beaucoup pour cette belle excursion, nous nous sommes beaucoup amusés. On est venu nous chercher à l'heure, nous avons fait une randonnée sur le Saint Pic-Loup et nous avons eu un super pique-nique au sommet. Le vin était délicieux ! Nous avons reçu des conseils de voyage de hire. Une excursion très agréable.

Brenda arrived on time at the meeting point in her comfortable air conditioned van and provided chilled water for us on a hot day. She chatted amicably with us as we drove first to the oyster farm demonstrating her passion for introducing visitors to the Occitanie region to the local wine and shellfish producers. She chooses producers based on a positive gut feeling to give her tourists an experience of meeting producers that have an authentic relationship with their craft. We sampled the fantastic local oysters at the Gambas brothers’ oyster farm trying natural oysters harvested just that morning and oysters cooked in a cheese and onion sauce. This was accompanied by a glass of cold local picpoul de pinet wine and followed by mussels cooked in onions and peppers on the barbecue. After lunch one of the brothers talked us through the process of farming, cleaning and serving the oysters - undeniably some of the best quality in the world. Brenda then drove us to two wineries: the Domaine de Saint André and the Mas Rouge. We were treated to interesting English language tours at each property. Clementine at Mas Rouge was a standout guide - very entertaining, informative and enthusiastic and we bought a bottle of Little Sweetness from their cellar door to take home after she guided us through a tasting after our visit to the vines where we sampled some of the raw grapes. Brenda’s tour is not to be missed if you’re visiting the region around Montpellier. Our day with Destination Occitanie was the highlight of our stay in Montpellier.

We were very lucky to find this tour. Brenda is amazing, she organized an unforgettable trip for us. We ate the most delicious oysters in our lives. The start time of the tour is perfect and we were able to enjoy the wine as well. After we went to wonderful wineries, where we learned a lot about the ripening and cultivation of grapes, the process of fermentation and blending. It's incredibly educational. The tasting was a success and I found my ideal sweet wine, although I always drink dry. All the way, Brenda told a lot of interesting facts and legends, it was very sincere and warm. Such a real experience of French life, such open and friendly people, and our organizer, who puts his soul into his work. Would highly recommend to anyone and would definitely return for other excursions.

Great tour company. We took a half-day tour from Montpellier, to explore a fascinating cave system (the Grotte de Clamouse) and visit a local winery (the wine was great). Our guide spoke good English and was very friendly. If you want a local, down-to-earth connection, this is the tour for you, and I highly recommend it.

J'ai pu Re-découvrir l'etang de Thau autrement au travers de super activités. J'étais avec d'autres participants très sympas, à la fin de la journée, j'avais l'impression d'être avec une bande de copains. De plus, Brenda l'organisatrice, est aux petits soins toute la journée.
